Writing Assignment #2 Topic: Where would you live?
In social studies, you have studied the U.S. and many of the things that make it interesting. Using the knowledge and experience you gained from your social studies class, write four, well-planned paragraphs telling where in the U.S. you would most like to live. Money is no object, so the city is entirely open to you.
In your first paragraph, introduce your topic and state your main idea. Also, write about the city you have chosen. Make sure to include some of its famous features and attractions as well as other important information. Your facts about the city should reflect a certain amount of independent research and should be informative to the reader.
In your second paragraph and third paragraphs, tell why you like this city as a place to live. You can tell in more detail about its most outstanding features or even tell what you would do while living there. In short, you are telling why this city is the most attractive place for you in all of the U.S.
In your final paragraph, summarize the good qualities of the city and why you want to live there.
